Started in 1998, Justin Morrison began Kid Chess as an instructional company for kids. Kid Chess' main focus is on making chess fun while teaching children valuable life skills such as sportsmanship, decision making, critical thinking, focus, and other faculties. The program is run with great success and popularity in dozens of schools throughout Cobb, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties, and the City of Atlanta, and local Private Schools. Kids love Kid Chess! Over the years, Kid Chess has had the pleasure of working with many State Individual and Team Champions. Kid Chess' kid friendly instructors are among a select group chosen for their chess teaching ability as well as their skill in working with children, parents, and schools.
