Soccer & Running Club

Soccer & Running Club (K-5th)

We offer two clubs in one!  Running and Soccer Club with NSTW Sports Camp. The Running Club is game-based with lots of fun activities including sharks and minnows, different tag games, and relay races. Our Soccer Club plays lots of game activities and does 1v1, 2v2, and the numbers game. We make the club fun and challenging for all ages and fitness levels. (No weekend games - after school program meets one day per week).

SMart ART Club!

🎨 Projects Never Repeat!!! Painting, drawing, pastels, murals, and clay! All ages & skill levels love our class! Trophy for every student! Frame worthy art piece every week! All high quality fine art supplies included! Special snack provided at the beginning of class! We love to celebrate all holidays and seasons with Art! We encourage a positive self-esteem building atmosphere! Art teachers are mature, experienced, degreed, AND love kids! Animals, landscapes, beach scenes, and anything your child dreams up! Grades K through 5th.

Rocky Mount's Board Game Club is a space where kids can explore board games, card games and thinking games.  We will play traditional games such as Trouble, Sorry and Clue and explore new games such as Rummikub, Racko and Dutch Blitz.  We will have a blast learning new games and laughing along the way!

Discovery and wonder is an integral part of a young child's brain development.  Science is a key subject that helps a child best understand discovery and wonder.  Using STEAM,  Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, is a great way for kids to get their hands actively engaged in the learnings of all things science. In the STEAM Club, we will be conducting weekly science experiments that use a variety of components of technology, math and science.  The bonus aspect of STEAM is the integration of Art into science learning. By incorporating art, students will be able to learn and discover as well as draw and create.

Cheerleading Club

Join Cheer Your Heart Out GA for a semester of after school cheer club! Students will focus on the fundamentals of cheerleading including cheers, dance routines, jumps, and stunts. Your student will showcase what they have learned at a local cheer competition in the Fall and The Atlanta Hawks Game in the Spring. This club is open to all grades (K-5th), girls and boys. Cheerleading Uniform Included!

Adventures in STEAM

Adventures in STEAM (K-2ND)

Explore the world of STEAM as we delve into science, technology, engineering, art and math with hands-on projects focused on creativity and ingenuity. From science experiments, coding quests and engineering builds to salty art and Archimedes’ bathtub…we cover it all in this class. The course will end with our very own science fair where each student will showcase their favorite creation.

Game Creation 101

Why just play video games when you can learn to code your own?! Using Scratch 3, you will learn how to create your very own games from beginning to end. Learn essential programming terminology and skills as you build multiple games with varying play styles. Students will receive a link to all the class creations at the end of the course so you can share your fun, one-of-a-kind games with your friends. No programming experience required.

Rocky Mount Chorus

Calling all 3rd through 5th grade musicians: Come Sing with the Rocky Mount Chorus this school year! We will perform concerts at the school, in the community, and compete at the Cobb County Choral Festival. Music selections include folk songs, show tunes, seasonal music, songs in other languages and more! Chorus meets from September through March.

K- 2nd grade students will have the opportunity to create weekly crafts with Mrs. Brooks! We will be using several kinds of materials and having a lot of fun! I love to create crafts with children. I also love when they are able to take their craft with them and show it off with pride! I can never do enough crafting and look forward to creating crafts in this club.

Our program incorporates a variety of games, role play, writing, reading and music into our daily curriculum in order to generate and maintain the interest of each child.  We use a positive reinforcement classroom management style to build self-esteem and maximize student participation and productivity. Class size is limited to an appropriate student-teacher ratio geared toward a positive and effective interaction between the teacher and students, and optimal classroom management.  Student placement is based on grade level, ability and prior Spanish language experience.

Impact Theatrics Drama Club

Get ready to imagine, create, and shine! In this exciting and energetic club, students will explore the magic of theatre through educational games, creative exercises, and classic drama activities like storytelling, character building, movement, and improvisation. This club is designed to build confidence, teamwork, and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment. From silly warm-ups to scene work, dance, singing, and everything in between, Impact Theatrics Drama Club encourages young performers to be bold, kind, and full of heart, on and off the stage! This fall semester, we'll be putting on an original play called Once Upon a Time, with a performance on the final club day on December 5th.

Before Clubs Start

  • Every student participating in enrichment clubs after school must be Registered for ASP. There is a $20 Annual Non-Refundable Registration Fee. This is to prepare for the possibility that you or a guardian is late or unable to pickup your child at the time of dismissal.
  • Tuition: You will only be charged ASP tuition by Cobb County if your child stays in ASP.

  • Please send a note with your child every day that they stay after school for a FunClubs' program.
  • Program instructors will meet students in the gym and lead them to their classrooms.

Dismissal After Clubs

  • Dismissal Location 1st Hour Classes: ASP Clubs will dismiss via the covered play area outside of the cafeteria.
  • Dismissal Location 2nd Hour Classes: Parents will need to come inside the school to the ASP Desk to meet your student.
  • Dismissal Time for most programs will be at 3:30pm (please review your confirmation email for specific class times or log into your FunClubs Active Account). If you student is in a 2nd hour program, dismissal will be at 4:40pm.
  • Car-Pool Tag: Rocky Mount Administration requires that you have your Rocky Mount car tag in carpool. If you don't have one, you can pick one up from the front office.
  • Students will only be signed out to their parent or guardian who must be on the pick-up list on that student’s registration. Alternatively, the parent or guardian may send a note authorizing an alternative pick-up person.
  • Students participating in ASP will be signed into ASP following club dismissal.
  • Students will be provided a snack after club if they are returning to ASP.

Cancellations & Absences

  • FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc.
  • In the event of inclement weather, FunClubs will follow the public school closing decisions.
  • When a class is canceled for any reason, FunClubs will issue a prorated refund for the missed session. Rocky Mount does not allow make-up classes beyond the end of the semester.
  • If your child will be absent for any reason, please contact your school's front office and they will notify your child's instructor. Please note that we are unable to provide makeup classes for individual students who are absent.

Sign Up Tips

  1. When you click SIGN UP you will be redirected to our registration page hosted by ActiveNet.
  2. Place ALL of the clubs in your cart at the same time that you wish to register for, including classes for different children. You can also increase the Quantity of a club to 2 (or more) if siblings are taking the same class together.
  3. As soon as you choose a class and place it in your cart when registration opens, those classes will be held for you until you complete the registration process.
  4. If a class says Waitlist Only, still join the class. There is often some movement that happens after the first days of registration that helps open up spots for students on the waitlist.
  5. Once you hit the red CONTINUE button, you will be able to assign your selected programs to different children, if applicable.
  6. Returning Customers DO NOT Need to Sign-In first to register. Simply click on SIGN UP, add the classes you want into your cart, and then you will be prompted to enter your account email and password (this will ensure you've added the classes you want to your cart first). If you have an existing account, it is still a good idea to double-check your password before beginning the registration process.
  7. If you are looking for a Specific Program, Filter by SESSION TYPE on the left-hand side.
  8. Classes can be viewed by SESSION LIST or CALENDAR, which will allow you to see all program schedules at once.
  9. All discounts, including automatic discounts such as sibling discounts, and provider coupon codes, will be added on the checkout page (on the last page of the registration process).

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

The tuition for each class is set by the individual club. Program tuition can vary based on the materials provided, length of the class, or specialty of the course topic. All tuition prices listed are for the entire 10-14 week semester, depending on the number of days available on the school calendar. HOW LONG DO PROGRAMS LAST?

Time: Most after school enrichment classes last 60 minutes long. At some schools, clubs also offer a 2nd session or longer class time depending on their lesson plans and course topic. See the Schedule tab for more details. Semester: Most classes meet once a week for 10-14 weeks, depending on the number of days available. In general, all FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc. To see the time, day, and schedule details for each class, click SIGN UP.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS OR DISCOUNTS?

YES! When you enroll your child you will have the option of paying in full or choosing our convenient 4-Month Payment Plan (available for most programs). Some participating classes also offer multiple discounts, including Early-Bird, Sibling, Multi-Season, and Referral Rewards.

How do I create a new student account?

Please note that creating an account before registration opens is not possible, but as soon as you choose a class and place it in your cart when registration opens, those classes will be held for you until you complete the registration process.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?

You may cancel your child’s program before registration closes at your school by logging into your ActiveNet account. All cancellations are subject to a 5% fee, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the original form of payment.

After registration closes, prorated refunds may be issued upon request and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note:
- After the 4th week of classes, refunds will be limited to no more than 50% of the program cost.
- After the 8th week, no refunds will be issued, except for significant hardship (e.g., relocation or medical exemption)
- Some Program Providers do not allow refunds for any reason once classes have begun. This is outlined in the Payment & Refunds section of the Waivers during registration.

FunClubs does not issue refunds or credits for missed classes due to personal scheduling conflicts (e.g., sports, other enrichment activities). We will make every effort to reschedule any classes cancelled due to inclement weather.
