Jitterbug Performing Arts (K-2nd)

Students will grow in confidence through music, dance and art while putting together a show to be performed at the end of the semester. They will work together to learn music and choreography for three songs and will also create props and a set to showcase during their performance!

LEGO Product Design

Have you ever wondered how the products that you use everyday were invented? In LEGO Product Design students will learn how to bring a product from idea to real-life prototype. Your child will come out of Product Basics training with the ability to reinvent pencil holders, design LEGO® picture frames and iPhone holders and a Product Basics Badge to prove it.

C2C Chess Club

Chess Club (K-5th)

Our philosophy at Chess2Children is to give every child the chance to learn this wonderful game by hiring the most engaging coaches, providing exciting lessons they enjoy coming to, all while keeping costs extremely affordable. Chess has proven to help scholars enhance their creativity, improve concentration, develop critical thinking skills, increase academic performance, and enhance self-esteem. Beginners in Chess Club learn the basics of the game ensuring a solid foundation. As they develop, they learn about each piece, why it's important, and the overall game. Intermediate and Advanced players focus more on tactics, mid and end game strategy, and competition with their peers and coaches. Students that participated in the previous semester will continue on from where they left off.

Code Ninjas

Join us to create engaging computer science learning experiences that support a progression path into real-world programming using coding languages such as JavaScript, LUA, Unity, C#, and Block-Based coding. If your child was previously enrolled in Code Ninjas they will continue the curriculum where they left off. Kindergarten and 1st grade Ninjas will complete icon programming. 2nd-4th Ninjas will complete block-based and JavaScript game-based coding projects.

A second language opens doors and builds bridges. Our club is designed to provide students with many opportunities to be involved in the Spanish language. WAY2PLAY Sports After School Enrichment program promises to be the best part of your child’s school day! We have designed a curriculum full of fun and interactive games all taught by certified physical education teachers who are experts in their field. The focus of our classes are participation, effort, and enjoyment. Our goal is to introduce your child to a wide variety of games and sports giving them the confidence to continue playing well beyond our classes. Students will be challenged and pushed to do their personal best in a safe and accommodating atmosphere.

Our program offers the opportunity for students to be exposed to and develop skills in the sport of cheerleading with dance and leadership infusion. Each session will provide students will cheerleading choreography & skills with a course in manners, etiquette, and social techniques aligned with the 21st-century curriculum.

Before Clubs Start

  • Students are sent directly to club classrooms by their teachers before car-riders and bus-riders are dismissed.
  • Parent Helpers assigned to each club will assist Instructors take attendance before each class begins.

Dismissal After Clubs

  • CCSD GoSafe Dismissal Updates: Parents must login to GoSafe ParentVUE and mark CLUB as the dismissal choice for each day your child is attending an enrichment program with FunClubs.
  • Dismissal Time for all programs will be at 3:45pm (please review your confirmation email for more class details or log into your FunClubs Active Account).
  • Dismissal Location for students designated as car riders will be the front entrance for pickup (Spring Hill Pkwy)
  • Students will only be signed out to their parent/guardian or authorized person who must be on the authorized pick-up list on that student’s registration.
  • Students participating who attend ASP regularly ONLY will be allowed to sign into ASP following club dismissal.

Cancellations & Absences

  • FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc.
  • In the event of inclement weather, FunClubs will follow the public school closing decisions.
  • When a class is canceled for any reason, FunClubs will attempt to schedule a make up class if the semester has additional weeks available (before the Winter Break or Summer Break).
  • If your child will be absent for any reason, please contact your school's front office and they will notify your child's instructor. Please note that we are unable to provide makeup classes for individual students who are absent.

Sign Up Tips

  1. When you click SIGN UP you will be redirected to our registration page hosted by ActiveNet.
  2. Place ALL of the clubs in your cart at the same time that you wish to register for, including classes for different children. You can also increase the Quantity of a club to 2 (or more) if siblings are taking the same class together.
  3. As soon as you choose a class and place it in your cart when registration opens, those classes will be held for you until you complete the registration process.
  4. If a class says Waitlist Only, still join the class. There is often some movement that happens after the first days of registration that helps open up spots for students on the waitlist.
  5. Once you hit the red CONTINUE button, you will be able to assign your selected programs to different children, if applicable.
  6. Returning Customers DO NOT Need to Sign-In first to register. Simply click on SIGN UP, add the classes you want into your cart, and then you will be prompted to enter your account email and password (this will ensure you've added the classes you want to your cart first). If you have an existing account, it is still a good idea to double-check your password before beginning the registration process.
  7. If you are looking for a Specific Program, Filter by SESSION TYPE on the left-hand side.
  8. Classes can be viewed by SESSION LIST or CALENDAR, which will allow you to see all program schedules at once.
  9. All discounts, including automatic discounts such as sibling discounts, and provider coupon codes, will be added on the checkout page (on the last page of the registration process).

Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH DO CLASSES COST?

The tuition for each class is set by the individual club. Program tuition can vary based on the materials provided, length of the class, or specialty of the course topic. All tuition prices listed are for the entire 10-14 week semester, depending on the number of days available on the school calendar. HOW LONG DO PROGRAMS LAST?

Time: Most after school enrichment classes last 60 minutes long. At some schools, clubs also offer a 2nd session or longer class time depending on their lesson plans and course topic. See the Schedule tab for more details. Semester: Most classes meet once a week for 10-14 weeks, depending on the number of days available. In general, all FunClubs after school programs will follow the public school calendar. Classes will not meet on scheduled holidays, teacher work days, early release days, etc. To see the time, day, and schedule details for each class, click SIGN UP.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS OR DISCOUNTS?

YES! When you enroll your child you will have the option of paying in full or choosing our convenient 4-Month Payment Plan (available for most programs). Some participating classes also offer multiple discounts, including Early-Bird, Sibling, Multi-Season, and Referral Rewards.

How do I create a new student account?

Please note that creating an account before registration opens is not possible, but as soon as you choose a class and place it in your cart when registration opens, those classes will be held for you until you complete the registration process.

Here are a few tips:
1) Know which classes you want to sign up for beforehand.
2) If registering more than one student, you can select all of their classes at the same time and assign who will attend each later during the registration process. If two students are doing the same class, just increase the Quantity in the cart to 2.
3) If a class says Waitlist Only, do still join the class. There is often some movement that happens after the first days of registration that helps open up spots for students on the waitlist.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY?

Before registration closes at your school you have the opportunity to cancel your child's program by logging into your ActiveNet account. All cancellations incur a 5% fee with the remaining balance refunded to the form of payment used during registration. After registration closes, FunClubs will follow the Standard Refund Policy for each Program Provider and consider requests on a case-by-case basis. We will not issue credits or refunds due to missed classes or scheduling conflicts arising from sporting events, other enrichment classes, etc. Every effort will be made to reschedule classes that are cancelled due to inclement weather.

How will I be helping?

  • You will help double-check each student on the roster is in class (2:30-2:45) and then support instructors during club dismissal (3:45-4:00)
  • You will be committed to helping on your assigned day throughout the entire 12-week semester
  • Most of the time (2:45-3:45) you can relax, read a book, or check out your child's class!
